We are excited to start working on the renovation and restoration of a 650m2 family home in the countryside of Girona. The current ruin is in very bad condition and the project entails a complete re-design. The brief includes 7 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms as well as careful attention to architectural details. Bringing light into this large double-storey country home will be of utmost importance as well as the minimising of passages so as to prevent a maze of rooms. Double volumes will be integrated to encourage interconnection between spaces and bring light from skylights to the central darker spaces. The project will include a swimming pool and an extensive garden design. Watch this space to see how the project develops!
