Construction is underway of a large 3-storey heritage-protected farmhouse in the natural park of Les Gavarres in Girona. The existing openings in the stone structure presented the main challenge as they did not follow a coherent compositional rhythm and did not coincide with the intended use of interior spaces. All the openings in the farmhouse as well as internal circulation and connections to the outside have been completely redesigned in order to connect the house with the spectacular natural environment in which it is located.
