Prefabricated Passivhaus Z2

ZEST Architecture has developed the Z2 as a 2-storey alternative to the popular Z1 House. As each plot is different and in many occasions setback lines reduce the widths of plots dramatically, the Z2 was designed as a more compact option where the master bedroom, bathroom and study are positioned on the first floor with an additional roof terrace.

The Z2 follows the same principles as the Z1 and boasts the same elegant, contemporary, open-plan and luxurious feel and appearance. Sleek modern lines, well designed spaces, generous living, dining and kitchen spaces that open onto a large floating terrace and a prefabricated, lightweight timber structure that allows the house to adapt to all types of terrain. The house is aimed at creating an indoor-outdoor flow, celebrating views.

Like the Z1, the Z2 is a ready-to-go product. It is designed with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a study, a large living-dining-kitchen space with big kitchen island, two ground floor floating terraces and 1 roof terrace. There is also the Premium option where you can adapt the design to your wishes.

After you have chosen your preferred model, we do our initial study to optimize the model for your site. After that, choose any optional finishes and work can get underway on getting building permission for your specific site. Once the building permit comes in, the order goes out to the wood manufacturer for the load bearing construction. After the main structure has been assembled and windows have been installed, our local crew and HVAC installers come and complete the house. All you need to do is call the movers!
