2020 brings the start of construction of our new build in Mallorca! Currently in design phase, this project entails the design of a completely new family home on a hillside with breath-taking views of the Mediterranean Sea. Following the clients´ wishes for a very modern, clean and minimalist style, the building is designed as two simple rectangular volumes rotated in opposite directions, one on top of the other. This rotation allows for a giant covered porch below the top rectangular volume. The challenge was in finding a way to fit all the required interior spaces as well as create a porch while still adhering to the strict regulations pertaining to building volume allowance.
