Our restoration and adaptation of the historical house Cal Doctor in Alella is moving forward. In this project we have taken special care to preserve and enhance the original historical elements of the house, which was built over various centuries, but at the same time we are making large interventions in order to bring new light into the home, amongst others by means of excavated patios at the back of the house. With the house being of great historical value, we have had our excavation works closely supervised by an archaeologist, but fortunately no skeletons of Roman remains were found… Inside the house we will preserve the charm of the old vaulted ceilings and large vaulted openings. Walls and slabs will be preserved as well, this combined with contemporary elements will give our ZEST touch to this spectacular home.
